From innovative updates to collaborative milestones, these achievements highlight our commitment to improving workflows, saving time, and driving efficiency across the industry. Here’s a closer look at some moments that made 2024 a standout year!

Continued Development with CostOS 8.4

In 2024, we saw significant software updates within CostOS 8.4. Key advancements included Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, expanded assembly functionalities, and the integration of an AI-powered Large Language Model (LLM). These updates have made it easier than ever for teams to enhance their workflows and streamline operations, with plenty more developments to come.

The Launch of the CostOS “Customer Compass”

This year, we introduced the CostOS User Forum, aptly named our “Customer Compass.” This exclusive platform serves as a resource for users to exchange knowledge, access CostOS documents and guides, and gain valuable insights into all CostOS software updates. From collaborative discussions to tips on maximizing CostOS features, the Customer Compass has quickly become a cornerstone for user success.

Advancing Preconstruction 2024

Cost-OS was proud to participate in the 9th annual Advancing Preconstruction conference in May of 2024, a premier event for construction industry professionals. As always, the conference offered valuable insights into best practices, emerging trends, and innovative technologies shaping preconstruction. We’re excited to announce our participation in the 10th annual Advancing Preconstruction in May 2025 and look forward to continuing the dialogue on the future of preconstruction.

Enhanced Support Ticketing System

This year, we streamlined how users access CostOS support by rolling out a new ticketing system. The system prioritizes efficiency and ensures timely responses to all user inquiries, enabling teams to get back on track even faster. From minor troubleshooting to more complex assembly development, this resource reflects our commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Nomitech’s 2024 Customer & Partner Event

In June, Cost-OS attended Nomitech’s Customer & Partner Meeting in Athens, Greece! This event offered a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments in CostOS and CosMO, while fostering connections with other global users and partners. Events like these are invaluable in driving collaborative innovation and shaping the future of estimating technology.

Quarterly Webinars

2024 marked our first full year of quarterly webinars! Driven by Jon Wells, Cost-OS Director of Training and Implementation, these sessions provided a platform for sharing knowledge, offering tips, and exploring the ever-evolving landscape of construction estimating. Webinar attendees had the opportunity to hear from other CostOS users, construction industry professionals, and Cost-OS Director of Customer Success, Brian Baldwin. We look forward to continuing these webinars into 2025 and beyond, bringing even more value to the CostOS community.

Rolling Out CosMO

We’ve begun introducing CosMO, a next-generation web-based solution for benchmarking and cost modeling. CosMO enables users to consolidate and normalize cost data from all historical projects, delivering meaningful insights and supporting confident decision-making. It’s a game-changer for teams looking to elevate their cost modeling capabilities.

AI-Powered Efficiency

Partnering with Nomitech, Cost-OS has been embracing cutting-edge AI technology. By integrating an advanced Large Language Model (LLM,) users can now retrieve data quickly from proprietary databases, historical records, and resources like RS Means. This innovation empowers estimators with faster, more informed decision-making, redefining workflows in construction cost management. We look forward to the continued innovation on not only this front, but other AI-driven solutions as well.

Looking Ahead to 2025…

2024 was a remarkable year, and we’re grateful to our users, partners, and Cost-OS Team for making it all possible. As we step further into 2025, we’re excited to build on this momentum, continue innovating, and explore new opportunities to revolutionize the way the world estimates. Stay tuned for what’s next!
